AT ANNUAL DRESS FOR SUCCESS

York, NY – (December 2, 2009)
Nora Ephron, three time Academy Award Nominee, addressed
more than 400 people today at the Roosevelt Hotel in New
York City at Women
Helping Women, the annual breakfast benefitting
Dress for Success Worldwide.
Ms.
Ephron, along with her sister, Delia, has supported Dress
for Success this year by donating $1 from each ticket sold
to Love, Loss, and
What I Wore, the intimate collection of stories that
they wrote, to the organization.
Women Helping Women,
presented by Wal-Mart Stores Inc., supports the Professional
Women’s Group (PWG), the employment retention
and career
development program of Dress for Success, providing women
with a network of support, practical information, and the
inspiration to achieve self-defined success in their career
and life.
During the event, Dress for Success awarded scholarships to
16 PWG members to further their education.
A portion of the
ticket sales from
Women Helping Women is directed to the PWG Educational
Fund.
In addition, CBIZ Women’s Advantage was honored for the
exemplary support it has shown the organization and for
embodying the ideal of “women helping women.”
Ilene Beckerman, author of
Love, Loss, and What I
Wore, was also in attendance to sign copies of her book.

Women Helping Women to see firsthand the impact that their support
has made on our Professional Women’s Group members,” said Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress
for Success Worldwide.
“This year, we were thrilled to have Nora Ephron, a
great supporter of the organization, give the keynote
address, and to honor the outstanding efforts of CBIZ
Women’s Advantage.”
Benefactors of the event included Allergan, alli, Bobbi
Brown Cosmetics, Diageo, FedEx, Gap Inc, and Sullivan and
Cromwell.
Dress for
Success is an international not-for-profit organization that
promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by
providing professional attire, a network of support and the
career development tools to help women thrive in work and in
life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success
