SPECIAL SCREENING OF AWARD-WINNING MOVIE PRECIOUS
SUPPORTS LOCAL NON-PROFIT
LOS ANGELES – (April
8, 2010) Dress for
Success Worldwide, an international non-profit organization
that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged
women, along with Lionsgate and Time Warner Cable, is hosting
the Inner Preciousness
Tour tonight. The private event for Dress for Success
clients will feature a panel of inspirational women, a life
coaching workshop, a screening of the movie
Precious, and
networking opportunities for guests.
The partners involved came together with an intention
to empower women by incorporating the important message of
preciousness from the movie into the theme of the event.
Women
throughout the community are invited to attend this unique
celebration and special screening of
Precious,
Lionsgate’s two time Academy Award® winning movie for Best
Supporting Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay.
The panelists will include motivating women such as
Katie Buchanan from The Style Network, Christina Macaulay and
Marlyn Garcia from Time Warner Cable, and Kate Neligan from
Lionsgate who will all share their career experiences and
discuss their professional success.
The audience will be inspired and encouraged throughout
the evening.
Women in
attendance will also receive the Dress for Success
Something to Share™
scarf, courtesy of Time Warner Cable and in recognition of
precious women everywhere!
The proceeds from the scarf will go directly to Dress
for Success.
