Dress for Success® and Diageo to Give
Two Women Business Makeovers at California Speedway


NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Team Sponsors and Female Business Leaders to Help Non-profit Show Disadvantaged Women the Business Behind the Cars



NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 21, 2008 When Kaydene Bennett and Holly Ammons discovered they would be receiving business makeovers this weekend at California Speedway, they couldn’t help but picture greasy overalls and firesuits. However, as the benefactors of a partnership between Dress for Success and Diageo, not only will the two women be outfitted with new professional attire, but they’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the business behind professional motorsports from some of its most influential businesswomen and female media members.

Kaydene, 24, New York, NY, and Holly, 44, New York, NY, will spend most of their weekend at California Speedway experiencing NASCAR and the business that supports it. To help get the word out, Diageo is allocating the rear quarter panel of Jamie McMurray’s No. 26 Crown Royal® Ford Fusion to the Dress for Success logo. Crown Royal is one of multiple adult beverages in Diageo’s product portfolio. The logo will be on display for national audiences all weekend including during Sunday’s Sprint Cup race at California Speedway.

Bennett and Ammons were both referred to Dress for Success by local job training agencies that were helping women in their employment search. Dress for Success provided both women with business suits for their interview process, and each landed jobs shortly thereafter. Since then, the organization has supported Bennett and Ammons in their ongoing career development. Now, they hope their crash course in the business world of professional motorsports will pay dividends for their future endeavors.
