The year 2013 is primed to be an outstanding year for Dress for Success® Hartford! Not only is the organization hosting its 8th Annual Capital Catwalk fundraising event on Monday, June 3rd at Hartford Stage, we are also celebrating 15 years of service to women throughout our state.
Celebrating 15 years, Dress for Success Hartford invites you to support this great cause by attending a festive evening of fashion. Join us as we debut the latest fashions modeled by local celebrities, community leaders and some surprise models! Enjoy delectable hors d'oeuvres from Greater Hartford's top restaurants and bid on many exciting auction items.
The 2012 Capital Catwalk was a huge success, and this year's is expected to be even bigger. WFSB Channel 3 is this year's official television sponsor, and the station's Kara Sundlun will once again emcee this wonderful event.

Love fashion? Styling Clients? Do you consider yourself a leader with a desire to be part of the fastest growing non-profit and work in an exciting environment that fosters personal and professional growth? We are training Lead & Assistant Stylists to join the team and suit our Employment Agencies clients who are getting back into the workforce. This is a free service provided strictly by volunteers.
Dress for Success Calgary seeks female individuals who love fashion but not mandatory you work in fashion. We have an Orientation Wednesday June 12, 2013 7pm-8:30pm in our Boutique located in Southcentre Mall. Please RSVP to volunteer@dfsc.ca.
Requirements: Leadership skills along with enthusiasm, accountability, reliability, along with presenting a warm and friendly energy. You will be working one on one and very closely with our Employment Agencies clients. The Lead Stylist will have access to client info, sizes and job preferences prior to appointment so you may better equipped to assist the client’s needs. We do offer competitive training through our Stylists who live and breathe fashion styling as their career. We also seek a Lead Stylist who can volunteer once per week or every 2 weeks preferred. More Lead Stylists available, the more we can see our Employment Agencies’ clients.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Open House on April 25th! We had a wonderful turn out and it was great to meet so many new faces. Attendees toured our boutique and office, met other stylish do-gooders and learned about Dress for Success programs and services. A big thank you to Sugar Mama's for providing delicious cupcakes! Dress for Success' Annual Empower Breakfast - Friday, April 5, 2013 at Hotel Palomar in Westwood
Dress for Success Worldwide – West hosted our inaugural Empower Breakfast, a 90-minute awareness event to celebrate the success of our women and the power of our mission. Attendees heard from amazing guest speakers, such as Rosalyn Taylor O’Neale, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors, Dress for Success Worldwide, and Nancy, a client of Dress for Success who shared her journey and the impact the organization has made in her life. The goal of the event - in addition to raising almost $20,000 - was to celebrate and empower women to achieve financial independence by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to employment, home and community.

March 22, 2012 - Kim Kardashian launches new perfume, True Reflection,
with an event benefitting Dress for Success
We had a lovely time with Kim Kardashian during the launch of her new perfume, True Reflection! Our women were asked to enter an essay contest that asked each of them what their "True Reflection" was. 15 finalists were chosen, and Kim came to our office to announce the 3 winners! Those 3 amazing women were then styled by Kim in our boutique, and walked the red carpet at her launch party that evening! Thank you Kim Kardashian for such a great opportunity!
