Art with Heart art fair and festival

Art with Heart is "Day of Creativity and Compassion" to benefit Dress for Success San Diego -- featuring dozens of talented artists, food, wine, live entertainment, a silent auction and opportunity drawing. New this year: the "Creative Kids Corner," with free face painting and fun art projects for children of all ages. A $10 admission ticket includes wine voucher and one opportunity drawing ticket. Children under 12 free when accompanied by guardian.

Associated Builders and Contractors known as ABC is sponsoring with Dress for Success Baltimore a "Mock Interview Day with guest speaker Mary Kraft of Mary Kraft Staffing Agency on May 20, 2008 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the YWCA 128 W Franklin Street. The day will consist of presentation of what to expect during an interview from Mary Kraft and break out sessions of the mock interview, appropriate business attire, resume writing, information on construction industry. breakfast and lunch will be serves ending with an evaluation and feedback as to the benefit of the day. This a free event to 15 ladies who will be recruited from the YWCA, Catholic Charities, and Dress for Success Baltimore. Registration is required.

Our DFS101 event is a brief informational session suited for individuals who would like to become involved with our organization. Our open house provides attendees with the chance to hear about our suiting and employment retention programs, meet the Dress for Success Worldwide Staff, hear from one of our amazing clients and tour our Manhattan Boutique. Learn about the various ways your company can become a corporate or event sponsor and/or at an individual level hear about our exciting campaigns, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and ways that you can make a financial contribution to support our organization. The session will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will run until 9:15 a.m. We ask that you arrive on time given the short nature of this event.
