Meet our keynote speaker:

Kristy Villa from The Balancing Act on Lifetime
Kristy graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Communications. She started her television career 18 years ago as a reporter for WSVN Channel 7 in Miami, Florida. Throughout her career, she has interviewed many interesting people and tried many different things on camera, including cheerleading, ballroom dancing, hiking the Grand Canyon, singing with a country western star and talking about serious women’s health issues.

Meet our Inspirational Speaker:

Dawn Baker, WTOC News Anchor and Author
Dawn is a native of Riceboro, GA, a small town located approximately one hour from Savannah. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. Her first first reporting job was at WECT-TV in Wilmington, NC. Dawn is currently the co-anchor of the WTOC 11 newscasts at 5:30pm and 11:00pm.
Dawn's inpirational book entitled Dawn's Daughter - Everything a Woman Needs to Know offers solid, practical advice on eveything from finances to career to relationships. Currently, twenty percent of book sales are going to The Dawning of a Miracle Scholarship Fund which benefits high school females seniors who are diagnosed with chronic life-threatening diseases.

Meet our Special Guest and Emcee:

April Johnston. The creative mastermind behind Mangled Courtesan, a couture fashion brand located in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. April was featured in Project Runway season eight and is currently starring in Project Runway Allstars. All designs are hand made to order and custom to each client’s measurements. Dress for Success Hartford will be benefiting from Hartford's newest networking event, Tiara Tuesdays! Tiara Tuesday will be held on Tuesday 2/21 from 5:30-7:30 at The Russian Lady, in Downtown Hartford. A $10.00 donation gets you in the door to network with other professionals. There will be free hors d'oeuvres and one Tiara Tuesday specialty drink included with your entrance fee.

Ladies - tiaras will be available to purchase for $15.00, or wear your own. Gentlemen, tiaras not required but your presence is! Bring your business cards with you and please spread the news to all your friends!

100% of your $10.00 donation will go directly to Dress for Success Hartford. It will be a fun time for a great cause and your participation will absolutely make a difference
