"Day of Empowerment" at San Diego Hair Extensions and Salon
Thank you to co-owners Shelly Cook and Erica Kuhne for celebrating the grand opening of their beautiful "San Diego Hair Extensions and Salon" in La Jolla by sponsoring a fundraiser and day of empowerment for Dress for Success San Diego clients. Shelly and Erica donated their time and expertise, providing haircuts, hair color, styling and hair care instruction. Each client also received a gift bag of hair and skin care products courtesy of Pureology and Empire Beauty Supply of La Jolla.
The day long styling event was followed by an open house fundraising party featuring refreshments, Silpada Jewelry sale and raffle prizes. Shelly explains the motivation behind the event: "I feel very fortunate to do what I love to do every day and I welcome this opportunity to team with Dress for Success San Diego. I understand how a hair style can influence self-esteem and I share the ladies' enthusiasm for a fresh, new look." Thank you Shelly and Erica for your compassion and support!
