suiting program

It Starts with the Suits
Clients are referred to Dress for Success San Diego from dozens of health and human service agencies across San Diego. The women that we serve are at a critical and vulnerable juncture in their question for economic self-sufficiency. Having completed basic job readiness training, rehabilitation, and other agency-sponsored programs, clients can rely on Dress for Success San Diego as a supportive ally during interview preparation, workplace acclimation, career planning and life management: A lifeline of support when it is needed most.

It starts with a private appointment in our warmly decorated boutique, where clients receive consultation from trained volunteers and a complete outfit of business attire as they prepare for a job interview that can change the course of their lives. This visit is the first link in a chain of Dress for Success San Diego services devoted to social and economic development -- helping low income women gain confidence, build careers and improve the quality of life for their children and families.
