|   | Dress for Success does not presently have an affiliate in Riverside. However, it is a city that Dress for Success has made a priority with regard to our expansion within the U.S., and we are eager to bring our services to benefit the women of Riverside the and surrounding areas.
Because Dress for Success is a grassroots organization, the process of starting a new affiliate is initiated and overseen by the people within a community who know the area best. We therefore are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate individuals—working either alone or collaborating as a group—who want make a real difference both in their community and in the lives of women by bringing Dress for Success to Riverside. An affiliate would provide support and services to disadvantaged women entering or returning to the workforce in an effort to gain economic independence, establish fulfilling careers and secure better futures for themselves and, consequently, their families.
As with any business, starting and operating a non-profit can be challenging, frustrating and time-consuming. But the rewards of helping women become more self-confident as they begin to realize their full potential—thriving both in work and in life as a result—are simply immeasurable.

Unfortunately, because we do not have a program in Riverside at this time, we cannot accept donations of clothing in the city or provide assistance to women in need of professional attire and other career development services. We do have two affiliates in California serving the following cities: San Diego and San Francisco. Please visit their Web sites for more information about their programs. We also are hoping to open affiliates in Fresno and Bakersfield as well and are looking for individuals in these cities interested in taking on such a project.
