| | Bringing Dress for Success to Madison—and offering women throughout the city and surrounding areas access to our services—is a priority for the Worldwide office. We know there are many women who could benefit from our suiting, employment retention and career development programs and therefore are seeking passionate, committed and enthusiastic individuals—working either alone or collaborating as a group—who want to establish Dress for Success in Maidson. Starting an affiliate is an opportunity to support women who are working towards both economic independence and brighter futures for themselves and their families. We may be seen as an organization that gives out clothes, but we do much, much more than that—simply put, we change women's lives.
You also can request an application to open a new affiliate by sending an e-mail to startup@dressforsuccess.org. To learn more about the start-up process and what it means to join Dress for Success, please visit our section on starting an affiliate.
Support from the community—time and talent from individuals who want to volunteer, donated resources (such as a facility, storage space and equipment) and financial contributions—will help ensure that the affiliate succeeds. If you live in or near Madison and would like to get involved, please send an e-mail to worldwide@dressforsuccess.org. Once we have an application pending in the area, we will put you in touch with the candidate.
In the meantime, you can sign up for our mailing list to receive copies of our newsletter and general information about Dress for Success by clicking here.
Unfortunately, we currently do not have any affiliates in Wisconsin and cannot accept donations or offer services at this time. Milwaukee is another city that the Worldwide office has targeted for expansion, and we are looking for individuals who want to help us bring Dress for Success to that city as well.
We thank you for your interest in our mission and hope Dress for Success will soon be able to offer support and services to women in Madison! |
