The mission of Dress for Success Cincinnati is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
Dress for Success provides each woman with a business suit when she has a job interview. If she needs additional job search support, the Going Places Network by Walmart program offers additional job search coaching and resources. Once employed, she may return to Dress for Success for 10 pieces of clothing appropriate for her new position. She also receives an invitation to join the Professional Women’s Group, our career development and networking group, and is eligible to participate in other employment retention programs. Dress for Success serves job-ready women by referral only from more than 90 non-profit referral partners from across our region.
Our programs transition women towards self-sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community. Since our founding 12 years ago, Dress for Success Cincinnati has served more than 11,000 women across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky—building a legacy of employed, self-sufficient women for our community and our region.
