1. Do you do pickups?
Unfortunately, we do not have the means to pick up donations in the Boston region. All donations must be dropped off at 989 Commonwealth Avenue.
2. Why do you need to have clothing items to be drycleaned?
Our clients usually do not have the means to pay for dry-cleaning before their interview and as a non-for-profit organization, Dress for Success Boston does not have the budget allocated for dry cleaning. We do not accept any dirty and out-of-date clothing -- please deliver those kind of donations to the Goodwill store, etc. If you are unable to dryclean, we ask that you consider donating $2 per item to help us offset any essential dry cleaning closts.
