Affiliate Home
|   | Although we do not currently have an affiliate in Ottawa, Dress for Success Worldwide has designated the city a priority with regard to expansion. We therefore are looking for someone with passion and dedication—who wants to work alone or with a group—interested in opening a Dress for Success the community. Starting an affiliate is a wonderful opportunity to have a lasting and significant impact on women's lives. Yes, it can at times be frustrating and challenging, but the rewards of helping women fulfill their potential are immeasurable.
When we do open in Ottawa, the support of the community will be absolutely essential if the affiliate is to thrive—and reach the thousands of women who can benefit from our services. Therefore, if you live in Ottawa—or the surrounding areas—and have services, equipment, a facility, storage space, furniture or other resources (such as your time and talents) to donate to a new Dress for Success, please contact the Worldwide office at worldwide@dressforsuccess.org. Once we have an application pending in Ottawa, we will connect you with the applicant. Until then, we do suggest that you join our mailing list so that you can receive for copies of our newsletter and information about Dress for Success. Simply click here to sign up.
Please note that Dress for Success cannot accept clothing donations in Ottawa at this time, as we do not yet have a facility there. We will not collect clothing in the area until an affiliate is opened.
Unfortunately, without a program in Ottawa, we cannot offer our services to women in the community. At the present time, we have affiliates in the following areas—Central Alberta (Red Deer), Halifax, Regina, Toronto and Vancouver. Please click on the above links to learn more about these organizations, including how you can support them with a donation of clothing, a financial contribution or by volunteering.
It is our hope that we will be able to bring Dress for Success to Ottawa very soon!
