|   | Although Dress for Success presently has no affiliates in Australia, we are eager to bring our program to Melbourne. We know that women all throughout Australia can benefit from both our suiting program and our employment retention services, and we hope to have the opportunity to help the women of Melbourne as they journey towards economic independence and better lives for themselves and their families.
We also are hoping to bring Dress for Success to Sydney and Brisbane.
A grassroots organization, Dress for Success is looking for committed, passionate and energetic individuals—working alone or collaborating as a group—who want to establish an affiliate in Melbourne. Our mission resonates in communities across the globe because we do much more than simply hand out clothing—Dress for Success changes women's lives.
And we also need the support of organizations, individuals and business throughout the city to make an affiliate in Melbourne a success. If you live in or near Melbourne and want to get involved—have equipment, space or other resources to share, including your time or talents—please e-mail us at worldwide@dressforsuccess.org. We will keep your information on file and put you in touch with an applicant once we have a candidate interested in bringing Dress for Success to the area.
Affiliates must adhere to our model but have the flexibility to tailor their services to fit local cultures and needs. Still, starting a non-profit can be challenging, frustrating and time-consuming, just as it would be to open any business. However, the rewards—watching the transformation as women begin to realize their full potential, gain self-confidence and work towards their dreams—are immeasurable.

Please note that Dress for Success is not accepting clothing donations in Melbourne at this time. We will not collect clothing in the community until an affiliate is opened.
