Dress for Success Denver is a project of the Enterprise Zone.
Your gift could create a credit against your Colorado Tax Liability. Gifts of $250 or more to Dress for Success Denver can qualify for a tax credit through the Denver Enterprise Zone Program. Cash gifts are eligible for a credit up to 25% the amount of the gift and in-kind and stock gifts are eligible for a credit of 12.5% the value of the donation. Donations must be made out to Dress for Success Denver and please note in the memo line “Denver Enterprise Zone”. After processing your gift we will send you the paperwork necessary for filing with your tax returns.

clothing donations | | Special Announcements... We provide job interview and work appropriate attire for women. We provide all sizes for women. We do have guidelines for what we accept and on donation day we accept the following items:
* Business Suits
* Blouses
* Slacks
* Jackets
We also accept:
* Handbags
* Costume Jewelry
* Scarves
* New or lightly worn shoes
Please keep in mind that the clothing we give to women is primarily for job interviews. We can only accept items that are:
* On hangers
* In season (spring/summer season only)
* In style
* In excellent condition
* Clean
*Garbage bags filled with clothing are not permitted and will be turned away.

$1 in the Suit Pocket Drive
For every suit you donate - put $1 in one of the suit pockets. If you decide to implement this with your clothing donations - please let the volunteers know when donating your suits. Last year there were over 10,000 suits donated to Dress for Success Denver. Imagine how your dollars will add up to support women in your community! Your financial contributions help to defray operational expenses such as:

$50.00 Suits--small to average sizes
$75.00 Suits--med to large sizes
$100.00 Plus size suits
$150.00 Sponsors a PWG Member
$200.00 Suits and sponsors a PWG Member
$250.00 Suits, sponsors and enrolls a PWG member in Career Center

How to value donations for tax deductions?
The IRS guideline for valuing a donation is fair market value.
The Salvation Army website www.satruck.com/valueguide.asp will give you the values for your donations. The value of an item may be higher depending on its brand.

donor information | | ***Please make sure all suiting is clean and no older than 5 years. We want our clients to look professional and updated. We do not accept dirty and out of date clothing - please deliver those kinds of donations to the Goodwill, etc.
We rely strictly on volunteers. We do not have adequate storage space to store the suits and if it is not up to our standards we have to bag them up and take them elsewhere. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
