Dress for Success® is a global organization founded in 1997 in New York City. Dress for Success® Seattle was established in 1998 with a grant from the Seattle Chapter of Fashion Group International and in March 2002, the YWCA assumed management. We are located downstairs in the YWCA building at 5th and Seneca.
Our Mission
To promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Vision
Dress for Success® Seattle envisions all women, regardless of social and economic background to be independent individuals and self-sufficient members of their respective communities as a result of having the opportunity to establish and advance in a career of their choice.
