We are a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the women of Philadelphia.  The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.

Through job preparation and employment retention programs and services, Dress for Success Philadelphia offers opportunities to disadvantaged women seeking to emerge from poverty—promoting economic security and self-sufficiency.

Host a Dress for Success Philadelphia "Party for a Cause" 2010 Campaign

Dress for Success Philadelphia has over 200 registered volunteers! We are mobilizing our awesome volunteer strength to raise funds for coming expansion to our new location (details to follow). Host a party anytime between February 19th to March 15th. The goal of each party is to raise $200 for Dress for Success Philadephia. Invite 10 friends (more or less) to your home or office for an event like a "swap party", or a movie night.....let us know if you need ideas. Have a free will donation or a set donation fee for your event. Let your attendees know you are doing a Dress for Success "Party for a Cause". We are excited that other Dress for Success Affiliates are also joining this volunteer driven campaign to help raise for their Affiliates.

S.O.S. – Send One Suit – Weekend 2010 will take place February 25th – 28th.

Every year, Dress for Success issues an S.O.S. to all women nationwide: donate one new or nearly-new business suit to help another woman enter the workforce!

By dropping off your suit donations at any dressbarn store across the U.S. during S.O.S. - Send One Suit - Weekend, you are giving a disadvantaged woman the confidence to take the first step towards economic independence.

dressbarn, one of America's premier specialty retailers of women's casual and career fashions, has been the national drop-off site and title sponsor of the Send One Suit efforts for seven years. To date, more than 200,000 suits have been donated by consumers through dressbarn during this national campaign.

The Style Network has supported the Send One Suit efforts as a title sponsor for the past four years.
