We are located in Brookhaven Town Hall, One Independence Hill, Farmingville, located near the Brookhaven Amphitheatre and Cultural Center, off County Road 83.
We are currently accepting donations on Mondays, by appointment, Call (631) 451-9127.
We will also accept donations, without appointment on the first Saturday of the month, from 9:30 - 11:30am.
Due to the new configuration of the building and our location, we will no longer accept clothing in bags. Please bring in your donation on hangers.
We accept current (five years old or less) office-appropriate women's wear, including skirt and pant suits, skirts, slacks, blouses, fine-knit sweaters, shoes, handbags, costume jewelry and other accessories.
Clothing should be noticeably clean, in good repair, and on hangers.
If you need a tax receipt, please bring in a list of your donation, and we can issue the receipt on the spot.
The receipt indicates the number of items donated. For the value of used clothing items, you can consult your accountant, tax preparer or the Salvation Army website for guidelines.
We are in particular need of pant suits in all sizes.
Non-petite sizes very welcome!
We also can use shoes in wide widths, and in sizes 9 and up. Shoe gift cards are also welcome.
We also accept cash donations, in order to sustain our program and purchase items that are not otherwise donated.
Checks should be made payable to Brookhaven Women and Youth Services, Incorporated.

We do not accept: clothing older than five years, jeans, casual or sport clothing, evening wear, men's clothing.

We are glad to give you a receipt for your donation. Please include your name, address, and the following:
# of suits
# of blouses, slacks, skirts, blazers
# of pairs of shoes
total # of other items, such as dresses, coats, handbags, costume jewelry, accessories.
We can issue you the tax receipt on the spot.
Please note that we do not assign a dollar value to your donation; that is up to you and your tax preparer. A list of standard values is available at the Salvation Army website.
