The Allstate Foundation is proud to support seven Dress for Success affiliates in their work to provide a 15-week, intensive and interactive financial literacy program for disadvantaged women who want to learn how to manage their money and champion their own financial future. These affiliates will supplement their curriculum with The Allstate Foundation's Moving Ahead Through Financial Management Curriculum, specifically the chapter dealing with understanding financial abuse. The Allstate Foundation's curriculum provides financial tools and information designed to empower victims of domestic violence to achieve financial self-sufficiency and educate advocates to work with domestic violence victims as they move forward on the path to financial security. For National Financial Literacy Month, The Allstate Foundation and Dress for Success invites everyone to take the My Dollar, My Life pledge and make a personal commitment to improve their finances in 2011.
